About

Our name is Mercy.

Mercy Care can be described in many ways with many words, but our soul is best known through personal encounter. Ask a patient, a client, a staff member, board member or volunteer about Mercy Care.

Better still, come see for yourself.

We give people hope where before there was no hope. Maybe that’s the best medicine of all.

The task ahead of us is never as great as the power behind us.
—Ralph Waldo Emerson

Our spirit is compassion.

Honoring the heritage and advancing the ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Care provides excellent health care to poor and marginalized persons.

Our core values are compassion, commitment to the poor, excellence, integrity, justice, stewardship and reverence for the dignity of each person.

Our assets are our staff, volunteers, board members, collaborators, funders; excellent facilities and vehicle fleets; and professional and technological expertise.

Our approach is collaborative, purposeful, restorative, innovative, transforming, respectful, hopeful, integrated, joyful, comprehensive, efficient and effective.
