Connecting Generations and Community

Mission

Mercy Care Rome's mission is to promote the ministry of the Sisters of Mercy by responding to the needs of older and vulnerable adults and their families, honoring their wisdom and dignity, and helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

Community Presence

For 35 years, Mercy Care has provided leadership, advocacy and care for older adults and their families in Rome, Georgia. With support from our Board of Directors, the Mercy Foundation, local businesses and churches, individuals, regional foundations, and civic partnerships, Mercy Care completed a $2 million dollar capital campaign and relocated all programs to a beautifully renovated historic property at 300 Chatillon Road.

Volunteer Opportunities

Mercy Care offers volunteer opportunities for individual and groups.  Music, conversation, arts/crafts horticulture, personal care and group work days are some areas of need.
